Phill
New to the MD world and am now looking for a head unit that has the ability to control a CD Changer, and supports MDLP. I really have no idea the best brand or model to go with, so any help would be appreciated. Phill
chipmec
They have a good assortment of car audio. That might be a good place to start gathering information. They list all the features and have good pictures.

Phill
Yeah, I looked at crutchfield, just not sure which is the best unit. Thanks Darkfusion, but what is the differance between that unit and the CA-680X? Phill
Phill
Can anyone tell me if the MDX-C150 supports LP formats? Phill
Christopher
The C150 does not support LP formats, as it came out in 1995. For detailed information about the Sony units you're asking about, please check out minidisc.org's equipment browser; I'll post the link that's most relevant to you. all sony MD car units: http://minidisc.org/part_Automobile_Sony.html

Be sure to write back with your impressions of the unit for future reference!

Looks great in my dash, sounds great. Seek time is WAY less than my NetMD(go figure  ) Thank you so much for your input folks. You really helped me find the perfect unit for my truck. I love the fact I have a 50min comute to work in the mornings now! Phill
Thee-O
My best friend had the MDX-CA680X installed in his second car...a Honda Civic. I love this head unit. Great sound. Cool Look. When I got my new car I wanted a new head unit. I had the Sony MDX-C5400X head unit for some time but I wanted something that had MDLP. I was debating about getting this head unit with a CD changer or a CD Head Unit with a MD Changer. I opted for the CDX-M850MP head unit with the MDX-66XLP changer. The only reason I didn't get the MDX-CA680X was because it only has 2 outs. I wanted a seperate subwoofer out. I am glad you are happy with your purchase. That is great price for a great headunit.
