cas
i erased an MD that had track info using edit->erase all and it all seemed to work fine (complete, toc edit, etc) but ever since then i get this "Can'tReada" error message (not listed in my user manual) whenever i turn the md on. it won't read anything: it just flashes the message & turns itself off... i've tried inserting blank & pre-recorded MDs and neither worker. i used another md to title a disc & its tracks but even with the text info it wouldn't work... still that same message... i've been using this unit for about a year (recording concerts, classes & cds) and it's always worked fine. i live in france and they don't sell them anymore around here. any ideas, suggestions on how to fix this? thanks
Ash
Hello, I have got that message on my player/recorder occasionally and usually it means that the disc you have been using is corrupted and your MD player can no longer read it. If it is happening with brand new discs that you've never recorded on then it sounds a bit more serious ane the fault is with your player.
