jimmyuk
My battery is almost spent, so I popped the MD onto the cradle... and nothing. The battery indicator dissapears, and it will run fine in the cradle, meaning it's feeding of the power (and yes, I have made sure this is plugged in and switched on). The weird thing is, when I tried this earlier (with my PC switched on), the screen went all funny and faded away. Now, with my PC on, it correctly displays PC->->MD, the track number and the time elapsed on that track, as per usual. On other thing, the record/charge indicator flashes every few secs. I really dont understand what's going on with it. Could the battery be past it's sell by date? Thanks in advance.
Christopher
Welcome to the forums. I would definitely recommend trying a different battery, and/or submitting the unit to a service center for diagnosis. If you're not interested in that, why not just purchase an external charger for the battery?
mAjEsTiC
i think it's the battery that's screwed up...better get a replacement...the battery on my E900 decided to play up as well...got a new one and everything was good...
