xenon219
ok i dont' know if it is just me, but after awhile of wearing the ear buds with my 505 earbuds. I'm pretty sure i don't have them that loud, cause most of the time I have them at volume 12. Has anyone else got headaches? I dunno, cause like after awhile, my ears start to hurt. I don't think it's cause the volume is too loud, although i have no idea what it is like to know if the music is too loud(like if you get headaches). The most i've had it up to is like 18, cause of the stupid loudness of the bus and stuff. Anyone have any idea? Could it be that i have the music too loud? Gasp i hope i'm not going to damage my hearing.
KJ_Palmer
The Sony stock earbuds are of notoriously poor quality, and are likely the cause of your trouble. I advise you to get rid of them at once and invest in a good set of replacement earphones. Something like Sennheiser MX300 are cheap, efficient and sound nice (IMO). darkfusion
I get this problem with alot of ear/headphones. I don't know if there's a particular solution, but I find I have less problems with more balanced sounding headphones. If they're too bassy or too bright I get a headache
Spare Tire
Bass makes me puke on real speakers because of the vibration on my body and stomach; but on headphone, it isn't a problem. I think the headaches must come from discomfort. I dropped my stock cans for EX-71 with the right size buds and it released the strain. Another possibility is that your cord length is too short and makes you cock your head on one side or to the front. You don't really notice it but after a while it makes you puke.
