Hi,

I installed every piece of software for the first time. I suspect that I will have to reintall all the software. When I downloaded SS2.0 with the md5 file and ran to check the download, the screen flashed but I did'nt get an ok that icetea had said we should look for.

When I downloaded the other file that md5 looks at, I loaded it into a webpage and then saved that file as .md5 file. I wonder if this was the right way to save this file. If I right clicked on the link, it would have saved it as a php file.

I'm going to reintall Simple Burner first. If that doesn't work, than I will reinstall both Sonic Stage and Simple burner.

One sec.

Just uninstall like so:

1. Uninstall all OpenMG related software via the Add/Remove Programs control panel and reboot as necessary. This means, OpenMG 2.2, related 'Limited Patches' and the 'Secure Module', SonicStage, Simple Burner, and RealOne. Make sure that you unplug your unit.

2. If you run Windows XP, proceed to delete directories within 'Program FilesAll UsersApplication DataSony Corporation' 'Program FilesCommon FilesSony Shared' 'Program FilesSony' relating to OpenMG.

3. Start -> Run -> regedit. The 'Registry Editor' utility should appear on your screen. Delete the references to OpenMG located under 'HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareSony Corporation' and 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareSony Corporation' by right-clicking on the entries.

..and then install Sonicstage 2 only. Don't worry about the md5's..they're not required. Just install the software and be content.
