This question may have been able to be self-answered if you had looked at the minidisc.org equipment browser. No worries, but due try and utilize the great wealth of information available next time. Anyway, the first Sony MDLP-capable car unit was the Sony MDX-G55MK2. So, take a look at this page and scroll a good bit down till you see the aforementioned model name, and then scroll up and you'll see the other MDLP capable units you may want to consider.
