atici
Thanks a lot for all the info guys. I also did the same as an earlier post and installed the official update over the unofficial one linked on this board. It seems to work, although it crashes once in a while on my XP Pro system (so did the unofficial build). Does anyone know when Sony will support Memory Stick PRO/PRO Duo in SonicStage? Every MS based player owner seems to be complaining about this fact. I was going to purchase a NW-MS70D (now NW-MS77DR is about to arrive), but this issue makes me skeptical. Eventually SS has to support PRO media sticks because other Sony devices use the same software. But it is likely that no firmware upgrade will be offered for earlier Network Walkman devices. Let me know what you know about this issue.
mAjEsTiC
yup it does...it works fine on my VAIO's MS drive to record to MS Pro sticks (provided it's MG certified)
atici
Interesting... Which version of SS ? Is it Ms Duo Pro or regular Pro ? Have you tried using that memory stick with a NW-MSxx or with a handheld? I wonder if NW-MS70D could read Pro Duo sticks after recorded on a MS writer. Maybe it would need a firmware upgrade.
