Rocketscience
Hey all, stepped into the MD-community today by purchasing a MZN10. Older model I know, but I got a hell of a rebate on it, so I figured what the heck ... I'll watch Hi-MD develop for a couple of years and switch when needed - not realy an early adopter, I know. Want to use it to play music, record it (off my CD's and experimental stuff) and do fun stuff with it. Basically replacement of my aged walkman. Why no MP3, because I like MD as a medium and it oozes cool, sometimes I just fall for something and go for it ... (musical devces, cars, women - LOL). MP3 just does not has that X-factor, and i like to stand out by buying an outdated, redundant and dying technological dinosaur (kidding). I was also interested in the different MD sets, as collectors' items ... the first ones I bought include the original SONY NEIGE discs (only 74 min) and some coloured ones (SONY something else). But I was also interested in the "hello Kitty" discs (to record my kids stories and first babblings on - just a big kid myself here) and some other coolamundo multicolour or monochrome MD's. Anyway, I am evaluating ICETEES SS release now ... to see if I should replace my version, and will be following / participating the discussions from now on ... usually with little to add :-) Greetz, RS.
