I am using a NetMD MZ-N510. I am having the same problem all the time When I transfer songs from my hard drive to my minidiscplayer I get a message. The message says "Detected errors while transferring". "failed to write data to Player" If I shut down my computer and then reboot, I am then able to transfer the same song without any problems. That is until the problem reoccurs again. It happens randomly. I have tried Sonic stage 1.5 and 2.0 and I get the same problem. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program and the drivers but I get the same problem. I am running Windows XP professional. I realize that the software must have a problem in transferring the data. But why does the problem get fixed when I shut off the computer? Thanks.

So you have reinstalled XP and the programs, totally reformatted your hard drive? Hmmmm...

Could be a couple of things: weird songs, bad ripping. I doubt these, but could be.

It also could be bad RAM. I've seen some very weird stuff be the result of bad RAM. How many apps do you usually run at a time? (how many icons are near your clock, etc?)
