Stunner01225
I have sonicstage 1.5 upgraded to 2.0 it was working fine until I did something ( what I dont know). now everytime it loads up I get an error message saying " updating sonic stage database, please load again after updating is completed. " I have unistalled and reinstalled going via 1.5 to 2.0 and staright to 2.0 ( links from this site) I have removed evrey file folder and reg key I could find , and I still get the same message. I upgraded the jet engine as the sony site said. I have installed simple burner and it loads okay but when I click record it say there was an error reading the disc. It does this with every disk in both drives and changing the md makes no difference. Please help or my md will become a paper weight. Christopher
Uninstall via the directions in the NetMD faq [registry edits and all], and then install Sonicstage 1.5 only and see how it works.
Stunner01225
I have just completed the install and still no joy. it loaded up the first time but then it hanged and I had to close it with task manager. It was using memory up at a vast rate. now the program just hangs on the initilisation screen. any ideas?
Christopher
You uninstalled exactly how it states in the NetMD faq? If so, then perchance do you have another computer you could try installing SS 2 only on?
Stunner01225
it works on my brothers pc md (same model), but the hard drive space is running out and we have different tastes in music. It did work fine on this pc for a while. i think remvoing some soyware mightbe to blame, but i have undone it all. any more ideas?
Bin_Hex_Oct_Dec
Im having the same problem too. I deleted the reg keys and reinstalled and still no luck. I did not have any previous MD software on my computer either so its weird. I emailed Sony and they gave me a number to call. I'll try that and if they fix the problem i will post it. Im never buying an MD player again.
