Manowar
Hi to all i have a NetMD minidisc, and i'd link to put more than 160 minutes on a 80 mins minidisc in LP2 mode, as i did using my "old" MDLP minidisc using an optical cable. I just need a couple of minutes more (164 at max) just to be able to put 3 cds on an 80 mins minidisc. With USB and SonicStage / Simpleburner this seems impossible....someone knows a trick / tip / workaround? Thanx in advance Manowar
Christopher
Welcome, friend. I think you may want to try putting one track in LP4 - perhaps one that isn't so desireable as the rest? Here's a calculator to assist you, if necessary: http://ravn.net/md/mdcal.htm
Manowar
Thanks for the suggestion and the valuable link kurisu! Anyway i'd like to avoid LP4 compression since it is too "metallic". I belive that the limit of EXACTLY 160 minutes for 80 mics MD, is *only* in the Software...some maybe it can be "hacked" in some way (beacuse i saw - using digital 1:1 transfers - that MD are normally 30/60 sec longer that what reported on the label) Other suggestions? crazeybt1
i doubt it's just software man lp2 is just 80 x 2 = 160 mins but here's what u could do..record via real time..just increase the pitch say ur using winamp u can download a plug in like fourier pitch/tempo control cuz i get to fit a lot of music than usual on MDs by just recording them faster n say each song have a surplus of bout 5-10 seconds on the disc it all adds up in the end to a lot of extra time left for more recording
