jimmykent
I would like an AM/FM Minidisc recorder that enables me to download images form my camera for extra storage until I get back to my PC. Minidiscs are so much cheaper than Memory Sticks... Is this possible with the NH900 or any other brand/model?
jimmykent
I guess the answer is no. Anyone have a suggestion for a portable unit (any media and preferably with AM/FM) that I can connect to and download from my Sony DSC-V1? Arbury
The only units I know of that can do this are the iRiver H300 series players that were anniounce about a month ago. I don't know if they have an AM/FM radio. See http://www.dpreview.com/news/0405/04052803...3iriverh300.asp for more details. Arbury
Christopher
Welcome, jim. You can use the NH800 for this type of functionality..
jadeclaw
Welcome, jim. You can use the NH800 for this type of functionality..But not without a computer... Check this table, http://www.archos.com/compatibility/compat...modules.html?en the Cardreaders are on the left, the hdd-players are on the top, take note the players that are marked, then hop to http://www.archos.com/ to find the right one. Most likely, it is one of these: http://www.archos.com/products/photo_video...oduct_list.html Or check out the reviews on Steve's Digicams : http://www.steves-digicams.com/digi_access...es.html#storage
Leland
The new Vaio Pocket HDD music player from Sony can display and store photos from a digicam to it's HDD without a computer. You use the hi res color lcd display on the unit to review and save the pictures. I saw this unit at BIC camera and the display is really pretty nice. Much better than just the BW display on an Ipod. I would have bought it except it only supports Japanese at this stage.
Christopher
Ah, I see my error now.. You could also try an iPod with one of those Belkin attachments that can accept most of the popular consumer flash media that is on the market today.
