No problems!

I have the software. Just email me your address details, and I'll send you a copy. If postage is too expensive, I'll let you know, but it should be ok.

Mind you the software I have is the ORIGINAL version for SHARP MT888/899 NetMDs. There HAS been updates/patches since then which fixed a lot of the bugs in the original release. I think I have them around too, but I'll need to look for them.

I am surprised you could not find the NetMD drivers on the web. I think the minidisc-t forums had a sticky thread on where to get them, unless the links are dead now. That's certainly where I got the OpenMG updates and THEY DID work on my Sharp NetMD.

I have to say that the sharp URL link that came with my software, was already DEAD! I rang Sharp on numerous times to find the correct link and they said you have to go through SONY! I don't know what's going on there.

So you reckon the Sony software does not work with Sharp NetMDs? Wow!

So how come you lost the software or did you find the unit 2nd hand without it? If you find one for sale, let me know. Mine is ok, but I want another one for my wife (or any Sharp MDLP model for that matter).

Cheers

Would you mind just emailing me the actual drivers? The regular software works, its jsut the drivers I'm lacking. They can't be more then a meg, my email address is shadow@overdrawn.net

I bought the 880 in japan 2 years ago and in my last 2 moves somehow I lost the disc =(

There was a stickied thread with the sony drivers, but I was unable to get them working. All the links to the sharp ones were dead from age.
