Kurisu has done his best to get it running smoothly, but I guess we're bottlenecked until the administration can be bothered to give us a little upgrade. I told the webmaster I'd help him pay for a new server, as the one we're employing is ANCIENT [400mhz is all I need to say] - and he says nothing. And that keeps the cost down to a limit. So, the final solution would be to find a different hoster, one who offers a dedicated server with a high amount of traffic already included. I've spent countless hours going over the "beef" of the forum and it's the best we can do. If you're an old timer with my administration, you'll know that the forum has made HUGE leaps with speed as of late and your words would've probably been much more scornful a few months back. I do also know that a new server is on the horizon, most likely later this summer or winter - but definitely this year. When I first joined as an administrator, I had no prior experience and I overmodded the forum with code and modifications that weren't very sound. It's taken me this long to troubleshoot and clean the inital mess I made.
