edd91
A friend of mine is giving me an old Sony Mzr55, yes, very old, but it doesnt record. so 1) Does anyone have any ideas what can be wrong with the recording ? I plan on trying to fix it, I have plenty of experience fixing electronics, never touched an MD tho, so any suggestions as to what to look for 2) Another friend has a Net MD, can she record songs onto an MD for me and will it play in the Mzr55? Will she need to set some special format? thanks Eddie
Kaotic
2. as long as she records songs in "Real Time" in "SP" mode, and not download songs from PC. it will play on your unit just fine.

edd91
Can she record in realtime through the USB cable?

If you're working from original CDs... record the slow way, in SP mode. Just do it, you'll like it better. xD
