doosmac
I recorded digitally using Digital PCLink from Launchcast (internet stream) to my 900. Then I was able to up load it to my pc and transfer to other disc the picking only songs I want. I thought you weren't suppose to able to upload digitally recorded stuff? I really hope I didn't sound dumb.
sxc
Did you transfer to a MD or to a CD?
doosmac
this time I recored a regular CD to my 900 using Digital PCLink. I was able to upload to my PC then down loaded to my hi-md 600 and play what's going on? was this possible all the time? I'm very confused. dex Otaku
Here's how I understand things: You can copy to more than one disc. You can play those discs in any player. You -cannot- copy those discs to another computer. Now.. the issue of digital vs. analogue source from the recorder itself.. I believe that at the moment both digital and analogue source tracks are treated the same. When the wave convertor is released it will enable decrypting of tracks from -analogue sources only- into a WAV file. hmm.. does that sound right? doosmac
you are right I get this message"this track originated from other computer, can't not upload to this computer...something like that thanks dex Otaku but still cool that you can upload to one computer and download to other hi-md discs
dex Otaku
Yes, but what we need is completely free control over what we record ourselves. DRM is a crock of doo-doo.

Jammin72
Analog sources only.., I think you meant digital sources? Nope, he does mean Analog sources! There's no DRM beacause you've removed the "Digital" part
