Spectral
I just bought an MZNH600 yesterday, and it worked fine. But for some reason even though the USB cables are in both the computer and the Hi-Md player, Sonicstage and Net MD won't detect it. Then when it does, the program freezes up the list and it remains there[the hi-md song list] long after I disconnect the player/recorder. And then when I used Simple Burner v2, its on the default setting where it runs when you first start Windows. So I then connected the recorder and it was connected, disconnected, connected then disconnected and connected again. I've already did all of that reinstallation process. It dosen't help much. I just want to know why it seems like the USB cable isn't in, when it is, and why SS/Net MD isn't detecting it? Thanks in advance.

dex Otaku
Sound to me like either: * You have a defective NH600 or * You have a bad USB cable or * You have a crap USB interface or * You have software running for one USB device that is interfering with the HiMD working correctly. Without more info I can't be more specific.
Qwakrz
Had this on a PC once, Sounds like a poor USB interface, try the following (in order of time & cost) 1. If you have a VIA chipset motherboard then install the USB 1.1 (and USB 2 if you have them) port drivers from here & Motherboard drivers from here 2. Buy a USB hub (must be powered type with mains transformer) and plug that into the USB port & then the Hi-MD into the hub. (gets around power problems, this is what fixed the problem for a friend) 3. Buy a USB add in card.
