ziggy910
Hi, I'm about to get a new PC  If I use the backup program on SonicStage 2 can I just then reinstall SonicStage 2 on my new PC & restore my albums? Will I then, on the new PC if required, be able to transfer music off a minidisc (recorded on the old PC) back to the new PC? Many tia, Tony
jadeclaw
No. Music downloaded onto MD from a pc cannot be uploaded again. To get that music back onto the PC, you have to go the old route: Through Line-In. Or in case of a Hi-MD-unit, record it off the USB... However, to move your library from your old pc to the new one, use the SonicStage backup then do a restore on the new pc after installing SonicStage on that one. To transport the backup to the new pc, use a suitable medium. I use an external USB-Harddisk for that.
