Maybe Sharp will create a real competitor to Sony's models or Sony itself will update their model line with something new? I've just ordered NH1 and it'll arrive in 6 days. bjsilva Posted September 10, 2004 Report Share Posted September 10, 2004 Hi Darkeyed, As is commonly said, if you take this approach you will never buy anything You should decide what your needs are, see if the NH1 meets them, and base your decision just on that. With that said, I suspect Sony will wait at least a little bit before releasing new models. Even then, sometimes new models aren't as good as the old ones. I find the NH1 to be a great unit. The next important date is the 2. to the 7. September 2005 in Berlin, the IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung). Both trade fairs are regularly used for announcements for new models and equipment.
