willystyle
If I convert it to wave file it works fine, but I never had to do that in 2000. I'm thinking of re-installing Open MG and removing Service Pack 2 for XP....a friend mentioned his Net MD is working fine in XP but he doesn't have SP 2 installed. Someone please help!! I don't understand what XP would be doing so that now I can't copy mp3s to my player. And I even went back to old mp3s that I know worked previously. I really don't want to have to convert every mp3 to wave before transferring every time.
Christopher
Uninstall via the directions in the NetMD faq.

Mat
Why does everyone rave so much about SS2? I personnaly think that despite openMG's bugs, it has a much better interface than SS2. You can set it to have a huge window with everything displayed instead of a tiny "transfer" windows that you can bearly see in or manage it.... Also, you could change the track names while playing, you cant do that with SS2 as far as i know...
mutant1345
i didnt like omgjb it still has the track copy limitations meaning you still have to go through the check in/out/ system plus alot of other things i dont remember i just think ss2.1 is the best version for burning and orginizing miinidiscs i guess its all how you look at it some people like to stick with what they got and others wanna move on to the better thing.... willystyle
Thx for the replies. But I've uninstalled it exactly as the instructions on here. As well I tried installing, 2.1 and then later 2.2 but I get the exact same problem. If I try using my Realplayer Pro to do it, the same thing happens. I'm pretty much giving up and just have to convert all my mp3s to wave before it lets me transfer it. I should've just sticked to 2000 and not upgrade to XP...arrrgh
