Thats really interesting so basically don't use sonic stage to make MD SP recordings (so why do they call it SP when its really LP2?) So which would sound better listening on a portable - MD recorded on a good home deck in SP or a CD ripped with Sonic stage using HiMD Atrac 3plus 256kbps ? Also is Atrac lossless not meant to be the best??? Thanks again Zoe

Hi, I have read there are Atrac type R and S and maybe more. Also on SonicStage 4.3 there is Atrac 3, Atrac advanced lossless etc.... Does anyone know which is the best to use to make a HiMD disc, and which gives the best quality to be played back on a normal MD deck in SP mode? Thanks

Hi, Does anyone know of a hack to increase the output of my MZ-RH910 from 2.8mW to the usual 5mW or better 10mW? I hear the Japanese units output at 5mW Thanks Zoe25
