I have the same problem, but there is a way around it. Delete all .dat files but keep 04CNTINF.dat. Then upload a new song or delete a song. And than try again.

Ok i still have the problem that no database is found on my player after updating some new songs. I had to delete the .dat files and kept 04CNTINF.DAT. deleted 1 song and its ok again. the log and datfiles are in the attachment.

1.03 crashes here as soon i klik on the medialibrary. This is when i try it with the old database (made with 1.02). With a new OMGAUDIO it work OK i think.

If you only use mp3 try ML_Sony. Its still a little bit buggy, but it is getting better and better. Read the topic on this forum.

Ok. A few repleys before i had that problem whith many .DAT files. I draged songs from that plugin to a playlist in the tree. Did you fixed that problem with the many.DAT files? So yes, maybe you can use it that whay. Just a thought

Do you meen drag&drop in winamp ore from windows explorer to ml_sony? If you mean the last one. Than i would recommend to use Total Commander instead of windows explorer. Total Commander has a function to see the tree of a (hard)disk. So you can select and drag files from more directories at the same time. http://www.ghisler.com/

I think i know why there sudenly were playlist. I had .M3u files in the directorys (I never use them, so i delted all of them.) Problem of a bad database on my player still happening. I have to delete all .DAT but 04CNTINF.DAT. put a new song on the player and it is ok again..

Ok. Just back and looked some more to te plugin. I have found that i can delete the playlist, if it comes. So i tried some more uploads. More uploads at the same time is possible. But.. My database is totaly fucked up now. In winamp and in my player. So i must upload everything again. I did not backup OMGAUDIO. (no problem) The plugin is just very buggy... But you are thinking the good direction. If it works as you want it. Its perfect. I will try to upload a picture....

Hee Otiasj. Great Job. Drag and Drop is just fantastic. It makes it just how i like it. I have just one problem. I have sometimes a bad database on my player. I have to delete all .DAT but 04CNTINF.DAT. put a new song on the player and it is ok again.. I think it becomes when a playlist is set on the player. I dont know why that happens. I do not select a playlist. Its looks like a bug.... another question. Does adding new songs while the player already is adding songs still works with drag and drop. I have not tested is very good, but it seams it does not work oke.. but i am not sure yet.

I have found a way to use drag and drop. It is not ideal. but is works. (EDIT: does not work) you need te plugin: Dynamic Library With that plugin you can drag & drop to a playlist. That playlist can be transferred to Sony Walkman. Another benefit of Dynamic Library is that you see the files as if it was in Windows Explorer. Hmmm i dont know what now happens. My player is behaving very strange. Its creating a database very very slowly. It also does not connecting to my computer anymore. I will try to restart my computer.... -Ok i have disconnect the battery of the NW-3 (switch). The player connected after that whith te computer. There where 7911 03GINF.... .DAT files. I deleted them start over again... The player works again... PFffff -Ok i tried i once again with only 10 songs. The same happens. And now i had 500 .DAT files. A database on the player was not reconized. I deleted all DAT en only kept 04CNTINF.DAT. Put a few songs again on the player the 'normal' way. Its OK again. HMMM its nice that this plugin is getting made, very very nice. But i think that the way MP3filemanager works is better for me. Only MP3filemanager has 2 annoying things. 1: No alfabettic order 2: You can not select more songs while transferring...

Winamp workes from the harddisk of my HD-3. did not check yet if it works also on a other computer. I have never worked before with the database of winamp so i have a few questions about winamp. I hope that is not a problem. -I miss a drag and drop function. So drag numbers from my local media to Sony Walkman -I miss a Genre selection (like itunes). Searched internet a lot for last night, It is a request of a lot of people. But i have not found a solution. -I dont know how i can select from one artist one album (when i have more albums of that artist). But than whith CTRL button prest. So that i can select a lot of different artist/albums in one time I have some more questions, but i have to go to my work right now.... Bye

Yes as soon i did know that mp3fm for my player worked, i also uninstalled it. But for testing the files for otiasj i installed it again.

I cant fix my old OMGAUDIO. My player cant make a database. I have to start from scratch i am afraid. Not a big problem. I have all the music on my computer. I think it is because i started up winamp with the new plugin before i did a backup of my OMGAUDIO. I only started up winamp. I have not done anything else. So backup your OMGAUDIO before starting up winamp. If that is not the problem maybe because MP3filemanager and SS are not compatibel???? I think not.

It works here for me with my HD-3. I had a winamp crash and the database on my HD-3 coult not be found. I deleted all .Dat files exept 04CNTINF.DAT. Then i put 1 file again on my device and it works ok. -I tried to play files with GYM. It dont work. I can read de database, but it is different than normally, its blue and it does not have the same TAG order than uploaded with mp3fm. I can download it with GYM. -MP3FM can see the files on my player. But also in a other way. Only the TITLE of the directory is read. Ok i know, that is the way MP3FM works. -My old OMGAUDIO failed to play. I dont know why yet. I wil try to fix it. I hope it will work. -one question: Is it possible that winamp could be installed on the player and works on every computer?? That should be great. I hope you understand all i am typing here. Otiasj I dont understand what you want. Do you want that i try the mp3files whith sonnicstage and your plugin, ore alone sonnicstage. Can it also be MP3filemanager. I dont use Sonnicstage anymore. If you realy whant sonnicstage i wil install it. Can you specify which key you whant. I think the key of GYM. So do you want both keys: encodekeys and decodekeys?

Hi I have a NW-HD3 and use the lateste winamp and the latest ML_Sony I can upload and download a mp3 file, but not play it on my HD3. I get this error on my HD3: Mismatch in Systemfile. No Database found. I have tried 5 times with different songs. mostly 1 song at once. Normaly i use MP3filemanager and GYM. I have not installed SS I also can't play the file with GYM but can download it and play. I hope you have some use on this information. If you want me to sent you some files, let me know.. I did not find the time to solve the last problem (number of frame) So this version can : grab files from the device, (key wizard necessary) Play files from the device (atrac pluggin needed) remove files from the device, Sending files is NOT ready yet so if you try you will get a not playable track on your device. Still the naming and album list/track list should be correct. Installation : Copy the file in the your winamp plugin directory. If you have a protected device (not a NAW1000 player) you will need to use GYM's key wizard and copy the decodeTable.dat at the root of your device. Also you will need the ATRAC plugin for winamp to play files directly from the player. If you have the NAW1000 (maybe the 3000 also work?) you don't need any key generator and you don't need the ATRAC plugin! Warning: If you press the Apply button the database on your device will be overwritten! oke i have reinstalled directx... I does not help. GYM worked fine fore many months... I have about 1000 more keys than there are mp3files on the player (because i will put more mp3 on the player...) That shoult not be a problem???
