I see what you mean. I have watched some of these high priced prerecorded MDs on eBay from time to time. I have seen quite a few of them end with no takers and then re-listed at the same price over and over. They seem to never sell then the seller just stops re-listing them. It's crazy.

That's something I did not think about and a good point. Since I sometimes have my unit on for long periods of time, I think I'll take your advice and just let it go as it is. Thanks.

Thanks Danny. If you could that would be great. Even if you wanted to do it the old school way of having it photocopied and mailed to me I would be willing to pay for the copy, postage and your time. BTW, my unit came with an A/C adapter that is for 220V but looks like it will fit a US 110V outlet. Do you know if this adapter will work the unit properly if the plug fits the outlet? My first thought is that it wouldn't unless you get one of those universal voltage\plug adapters. Thanks for the suggestion but, the only manual I found on the net was the service manual and I was looking for the users manual.

Thanks for the reply and suggestion. I'll try that. I did check the manual and noticed the note about pressing any key to clear it but of course that is only temporary. I am looking to see if there is a way to get ride of it for good.

Thanks for the information. I did look at the service manual PDF on minidisc.org before posting here. I was hoping Panasonic included the users manaual in the service manual doc like Sony did from time to time. Nope!

Anyone know if there is a way to permanently disable the demo mode that pops up when the unit is idle with no disc inserted for 10 minutes?

I recently purchased this to add to my minidisc collection. I do not have the users manual for it though. I was wondering if someone here would happen to have a copy in PDF format or some way to get me a copy of it. I have searched the net and came up empty. Any help would be appreciated.
