Brand new PC = Vista? SS= 4.3? Just get that ipod.

I've mentioned time and time again... sonicstage works fine for me. Suppose its to do with the fact that I dont deal with "loose" MP3s but rather on a per album basis. Compilations or full albums works fine. Maybe I'm just lucky. Sonicstage 4.3 + Vaio Pocket VGF-AP1L = Bliss.

I dont see how this is possible. Are you sure its damaging the left hand side channel or whether you've got a bad or dirty connector which is usually common. Have you tested your other "damaged" earbuds on your hi-fi?

I had the same problem as well and the remedy was as what chitownlost mentioned. Simple really. Just make sure that SS points to the same root drive provided by windows.

Now now... which version are you using? I'm on SS 4.3 and personally think its ok. I mean, yeah, its slowish but besides that, its pretty darn good!

Which controller? The keypad or the thumbstick? Any shop should have the spare parts. Maybe you could try asking at Low Yat Net Forum.

Have you tried fully charging it? When I first got my VP, it kept going to the white screen of death. I left it to charge overnight (8 hours) then the next morning, started it up. It was looping at the initialise stage (set language)... and I did a reset. All sorted after that!

supergojira, very queer problem indeed. what version of SS are you using? Doesnt look like 4.3 to me! Why dont you upgrade to that... plus, why not just move all your music files to the root directory - ie C:\ and see if SS picks it up.

Hi guys, newbie here with a Vaio pocket. Previously was a relatively active member in audio t-board... but I think it'd be more appropriate posting questions on my new toy as its not MD no more! Some questions which I've posted on the other forum are: i) I usually listen to music by albums... so, I select my album from the jacket list and play. But when the album finishes, it stops. How can I make it so that it would move on to the next album in the list like my other HiMD units? ii) Is there a way of arranging the list of albums in the jacket view to sort by album title rather than date of transfer? iii) Know this has been debated a lot of times... but is it better to let the battery drop to about 50% before docking on the cradle, or should I just dock it everyday regardless of how much use its seen... this of course is referring to battery life. iv) I've noticed in some pictures in reviews that the album art extends all the way to the RHS of the screen. Does this mean that this is dependent on the resolution of the jacket picture? v) How do I use the lyrics function? Appreciate if anyone can provide some leads to this. Thanks!
