The menus are in full english. The interface is identical to the X Series walkman, which includes cover flow like album art by pressing up and down on the now playing screen. And scene preview for videos by pressing right and left. I enjoyed pressing up and down for direct access to artist album genre on my s618 so i think il stick with that, and wait for android or something better coming on the horizon. Come on fm transmitter!

Teasing is too much fun. When i find out about a true international english version i will let you know

Don't loose hope, i have a sneaking suspicion that sony will annnouce the international version very soon. As they just registered NWZ-A845 in Korea, date is 15-10-2009 Don't give up hope

Sony Australia has allways been slack and seems to price it above NZ sometimes which is weird

On CNET they say this is not going outside Japan, and not coming at all to the US. Can anyone shed light on this

Its a pitty i wanted more, give me an s series with fm transmitter please! And bring back features from last s series range podcast support customisable menu. And bring wifi in a future edition or at least bring back BT.

If anyone is wondering the speakers are good on this device better than the ones in creative players and better than the upcoming zii, thats the only thing i found out about this player. (from reviews not personally) I am still waiting on one with an fm transmitter

You are missing something, it is there under playback range select "selected range" for that range only eg that artist that album or "All range" for it to shuffle all albums or all artists etc
