sry but u misunderstood me. its not always true, but its true for these 3 models, I've heared some experiences about them. The HD515 is really cool, but how many times the 555/595 cost, they are approx. so much better.

Sennheiser HD series you wrote are all awesome. The more they expensive are the better SQ they give. IMO all of them are good choice. I would go for the HD555, maybe for the 595.

that's insane. a pc virus hasn't any effect to an mp3 player, especially to sq and battery.

Hi. I have an NW-A608 walkman, and I've just noticed, that the elapsed time counter doesn't work always properly. I've just copied some high quality (~300kbps mp3 vbr) music and noticed, that the same part of the track is on PC (Winamp) at 0:50, and on my walkman it's at 0:35. Then I've started both of them at the same time and notices, that my walkman counts too slowly the elapsed time. I don't know, maybe this problem is because of the VBR or because of the hi-quality tracks. I haven't tried it yet on other tracks, only on that one. Its not a big problem, just a bit pesky. Have u noticed similar?

I heared, the Zen's have much worse sound quality, than the new Walkman's. This is the most important thing for an mp3 player.

I have A608... Has S700/A800 better sound? The better earphones doesn't matter, because I have CX300.

Walkman players have much, MUCH better sound quality, than iPods have. The iPod's playback time sucks, while Walkman players have min. 30 hours (my A608 plays 50hrs). iPod is for fashion not for listening to music BTW i think Sony players look much better, and they are unique.

But why? It isolates almost perfectly the noises. But no matter, I travel usually only with bus/foot, not on plane/train.

Hi! I own an NW-A608. I dont ask for possibility to download legally music from elsewhere. What I ask is a firmware with drag and drop ability, because, SonicStage is not a good program and it won't be better ever because its not supported anymore. Sony, PLS!!

I tried this program called GYM, made keys with keywizard, opened gym.exe, it shows correctly all my tracks on my walkman, but if I click to save selected tracks (while tracks are selected), it saves only an empty folder named the songs album, but not the song. What is wrong? I have A608.
