I have these phones.. they are evry good but i did find i got some siblance on them which can be very irritating at times..

is .net not mainly used for interface stuff? .. anyway i agree the number 1 thing you should be doing right now is cracking how to put music back onto the player.. if you can work the code then i am only a step away from an amaroK plugin

if its like the HD5 then its real size IS 20gb (which i found out when i nearly ofrmatted it during a linux install and put ext3 on there instead : but inly about 18.6 shows up. given that firmware fo thgese devices is not 2 gb i can only guess the rest is filled with all the rubbish that is needed to decode .dat's and .oma's without GYM..

nwhd5 also has EQ support for mp3 but only with the 2 band eq which has always been enough for me.. + better battery life and cooler design imho.. no automatic syncing with a podcast client though which is a bummer

Teher are actually an awful lot of ways to get free music on the net that arn't filesharing/illegal.. bands websites are often a good start as are MP3 blogs such as said the gramaphone or music for robots. bleep.com and emusic.com are the best pay sites with some great bands and no drm though

Yes i use Podnova (better version of juice/ipodder). i havn;t found a way to get sonicstage to do podcasts properly but i set up a dynamic playlist and am working on a way to add watch folders to sonicstage which would combine to produce what was needed
