the n707 should never have been discontinued. Its the best model averaging price and features. I know tons of people who own them, why sony, why?

the n707 is a rock solid player that can be easily hacked, unfortunatly if you live in the us or canada it comes with a crap remote. Um.. the mz-n10 is wonderful. Its expensive though. I recommend the n10 if you wanna plunk down the extra bucks, but other then burning quicker and battery life, there is nothing significantly different. It does have a better remote and type-s dsp. I don't really know what the big deal is with type s, but it sounds cool. I'm buyin one when i get the money, for now i'll enjoy my hacked n-707.

i'm what you'd consider a newer minidisc user. But i am not new to the cd burning world. I've found that minidisc way easier then doing cds. All i use cd's for is archiving. Anyway I use the nero+simpleburner method for downloading, for uploading i've used many methods, and i hav't settled on my fav yet. Oh yeah, bad news on kazaa, the RIAA (music industry), is trying to flood certain albums with junk music. But anyway, i like my mz-n707, i like the hack for it too. I wish I had the mz-n10, but whatever.

i'm too cheap to buy an external. Internal works fine.
