I guess its not Sonic Stage. I scanned, and I didn't remove anything harmful. No programs should be starting. When I checked the processes, 'Omgjbox.exe' is only like taking 10 MB of the memory, and around the 40 mark in CPU. I'll investigate this further. Thanks for the help though.

This might be some sort of confusing, but it runs pretty crappy at my computer: 2.8 GHz Intel Pentium 4 512 MB DDR SDRAM It usually never happens. But now that I had to restore factory settings due to certain problems, its not running smoothly, only when Sonic Stage and Mozilla Firefox is on. When they each run separatly, it goes pretty smooth. Appreciate the help, Stuge.

Sonic Stage 3.4 is just taking up too much CPU speed and RAM in my computer. Is there another program that I can use to play ATRAC files instead of SS 3.4?

It could be on the bottom of each page. So that while people are surfing the posts, they can just scroll down to see the chat, or updated shout box.

Did you change the settings at all? If you didn't, then I think its defected and you should go to thr retailer and exchange it. But if you did change the settings...well, I don't think there is an option that cuts off the song and plays the very first one. I say exchange it.

NW-A1000 and NW-A3000: Initial Impressions
RedemptioN419 replied to Ascariss's topic in Product Reviews/Pictorials
If a speck of dust were to be found under the screens of any one of my preivous NW's or MP3 players, I would go absolutely nuts. I'm surprised that with the ammount of dust that could possibly be in your player, you haven't cracked once. I'm still glad that your enjoying your player. I'm still waiting for mine to be released here (yes, I live in the US). You are a college student, right? I don't think any highschooler can afford such technology -
I too live in the US...must have A608!! As for me, i'm stuck with a CD player with a broken lid. So I have to stick a metal paper clip in a slot so the player won't read 'OPEN' when I turn it on. Only advantage is, I get to be entertained by an exposed spinny CD. I do agree with you there. Sad, very very sad...for me.

Yeah, your right. But the iPod Shuffle also features USB plug, but I'm not getting that. I guess MP3 players aren't supposed to be flash drives? In anyway, if the place your going to has the correct USB cable, it can still be used as a Flash Drive

Sony does too many absolutely senseless things!

I don't know... I still find it hard to convert to Apple. I still find my decision going to Sony mainly because their designs, concepts, and features just seem more in tune with me (maybe not you). -

I thought their idea of merging the USB plug into the NW-E300 series was a very smart and innovative thing. That way, you can let it travel with you as both an MP3(ATRAC) player and a Flash Drive, which normaly don't need a USB 'cable'.

'Unable to transfer the following tracks...
RedemptioN419 replied to RedemptioN419's topic in Software
HEre's what I did: 1) 'Tools' 2) 'Backup My Library' And I continue from there. I have also converted my files using the conversion tool. I'm still having the same problem . I don't understand how everyone else can transfer their files while I can't. Only the unprotected files can be transfered, but sadly, not the ones purchased from CONNECT. -
I see. But i'm pretty much in a budget hole, so here'e hoping the A607 isn't over 35% more than the E507

'Unable to transfer the following tracks...
RedemptioN419 replied to RedemptioN419's topic in Software
Actually, yes. And thank you for the reply. Is there a way I can fix it? -
Now that Sony announces the discontinuation of the NW-E300 series, Codename 'BEAN' (the same day I purchased a 307!! Bangs head on keyboard), I feel like returing my bean and getting a core E507 just because. Not to be a sexist, but I heard that Sony focused their NWBean for the girls...i'm a guy. And I've also heard how people rarely see the Bean floating in anyones hands, which hints its unpopularity. And i've always noticed its fragile structure, pushing the cap back from hold makes me feel that i'm going to break it sooner or later. I just need some opinions. Is the extra money worth it? Or should I just wait until they decrease the prices on the E400/E500, or wait until they release the A600 series here in the US? I've already had 3 exchanges on the same NW already...irritating the sales clerk.

Anyone got any idea how to fix this problem? And in case you can't see the image, everytime I try to transfer a file directly from my library to my ATRAC device (NW-E307), I alwasy get an error: "Unable to transfer the following tracks using the original file format'using the original file format" Its been bugging me and I can't figure out the problem. I've reinstalled the verions, I tried using 3.2, the version supplied in the box. Still no luck, I tried every setting possible and it still won't transfer. It only happens to protected files bought and downloaded DIRECTLY form Connect. Thank you in advance. I'm really new in these forums and so far, i've loving it. Finally a place dedicated to the ATRAC file.
