  1. My problem is a bit different I can transfer songs to the NetMD (with no problem at all) after a successful restored backup. But I’m unable to play those restored songs on SonicStage... I can only play new songs, added after the restore point. :wacky: Any hints?
  2. It sound like the blank disk error issue that happens with the N1's :wacky:
  3. I found that some records sound better than others in MDLP4 (using the same source). The best way to get good atrac encondings is converting the songs with the original CD as source. (not always possible ) :wacky: To my ears a file converted to atrac3@66kbps sound better than a rip to mp3@128kbps (both using the original CD as source )
  4. Strange... ive'd used severel discs (60 mim  year 92) with my MZ - N10 and got no problems at all.
  5. Went to my hometown in the Easter vacations and “ripped” + - 100 CD’s to Atrac3 OpenMG format and then burned those “ripped albums” to CD’s as a backup. Now I’m back to the town where I study and tried to transfer those “ripped” albums to my Net MD, and I got this message: These tracks cannot be transferred “cannot load the rights information for the selected tracks.” Is there any way to transfer these songs to the MD using another computer? PS:Geee… I guess I’m another victim of the Sony MG Copyright crap thing.
  6. My N10 (european version) uses the Sony RM-MC33EL MD remote instead of the expected RM-MC35ELK MD remote. :wacky: Any hints about this???
  7. European version for sure. I also own a European N10 with the same US warranty printed on the back of the Instructions Book. I think Sony uses the same books to both US & European units. But since the warranty in the US is slightly different from the one used in the rest of the world, Sony print US warranty as a complement of the general warranty I guess… PS: Yes my N10 also have low volume power, nevertheless it's more than sufficient to my needs.
  8. Same opinion here :wacky: My encodings to ATRAC3 and MP3Pro were done with the original CD's (same source) I love the LP4 (ATRAC3@66Kbps) mode (using original CD’s)... I consider myself as being exigent about sound quality. Don't understand why there are so many people hating LP4 for music...
  9. Hummm i c. I've done some recordings in LP4 (ATRAC3@66Kbps) and my Meola records sound great, with a much better quality over my mp3pro@64kbps rips. PS: By the way the N10 Headphones suck , no bass at all... :whatever:
  10. First of all great forum . Can a Net MD like the MZ - N10 i own record in the ATRAC3+ format? So... what's the point riping out music in the ATRAC3+ format (48 Kbps) using SonicStage if the MD only recs in the regular ATRAC3 format? (I'm a newb so this is probably a dumb question ) Tnks.
