-
I tried using the original batteries as well as the ac adaptor to no avail. I do notice that sometime it will finally get to "read error" Could a lens cleaner help ? I don't see anything in the manual about resetting the unit. How to do that ??? thanxs Ishiyoshi

I've got TWO HI-MD MZ-RH910 that no matter what disc I use never get out of the "busy wait a moment " message I had the units only a year and never had any problems with them unil I started using a new generic blue gumstick battery. When I connect to the PS sonicstage software I just get access PC-MD. Is there anyway to get these uints workable again ? Have anyone else had this happen ?

IS THERE A WAY TO UPLOAD an ACTRAC cd back to Sonicstage ?
-
OK got it ! My problem was the "group set" I had to group release before I could do the edits.. #1.You selected "Group set" Group release", Move or erase while recording.Actually it was afterwards.
-
As well , but this happen before I upload or download...as I am recording analog (sometimes from sonicstage), material that's been imported from real player. THEN get the cannot edit message from the MZ-RH910. So is this "bug"that prevent editing from the device present when "playing" in real time audio from the library ? ...thanks

Simply, I just want to add track marks & erase commericals on the device before uploading & downloadingback to the MZ-RH 910 @ 48k. Funny the page(77) in the user manual "on line" that deals with this is blank. So I'll have to type. MESSAGES " CANNOT EDIT" 1. You selected "Group set" Group release", Move or erase while recording. OK, so I checked this off 2.You tried to erase the track mark at the beginning of the first track or group. Hmm... maybe that's it !3.You tried to erase a track mark to combine track the recorder cannot combine (a track recorded and in stereo and in mono for example) NO 4.You tried to overwrite a track marks. What is this ??? 5.You tried to change a title that includes charters the recorder cannot edit.(editing titles cannot be dine if the title includes characters that cannot be input on the recorder. )Certainly not There must be something to do make sure you can keep the editing features onboard. But still I'll check out the editing software options. Any help is appreiciated

all so far are analog recordings. it's odd as the recording are all analog I'll take a look at himdrender, where can I find it ? homepage of mini disc forum ?

Why sometimes I'm able to edit a line in recording and other times not.? All recordings are Hi-LP with group set.
-
It put it back into the library converted... I have 3.2 thanxs

GM, I do that but afterwards I still have to go to my music file & delete those file which goes in the recyle bin then go to disk clean up, wait awhile for it to do a scan then ok delete recyle item & some temp files. Is there some set up that would work simply the way you say ?

When I transfer line in recordings @ Hi-LP to the computer in standard mode to convert the bit rate ( in this case talk radio recorded in 64k "Hi-LP" to 48k) back to the HD-MD the disk space is greatly used up 20 g after about 4 or five transfers even afer I delete the tracks from the library it is still stored in My Music file. Question other than manually deleted these files how can U keep these tempoary transfer from consuming the hard disc space ?
-
Is this a copyright function when I downloaded some previously purchased music online to HD MD on a 1 gig disc then after a few days wanted to edit by computer, then sonicstage just sucked empty all the music from the disc back into the library and something about music not deleted from library was messaged. what is this ???
-
I can download/transfer the coast2coastam radio program (format = MP3 ) (codec =mpeg/au... at 48 kps) in NET MD PLAYER mode & disconnet from the computer for playback. BUT only get a playback with HI MD if connected to the computer, when I disconnect it says "cannot play" Is there a way to use HI- MD mode to transfer this format ?
-
thank you very much KJ would it make a difference If the source is from MD's LP4@ (66k) which is already close to HD-MD's Hi-LP(64k) and HI-Sp would be a waste of disc space? And if I transferred/ recorded up to 132K /265k will that enhanced the recording ?
-
Have anybody tried this... When recording the HI MD from an analog source would it be better to record initally at the higher bit rate (256k Hi sp) before transferring to a lower bit say (132k or 105k) rate to save disc space or would the recording at (64k Hi-Lp) be improved /upgraded by transferring @ 132k rate ? Thus the end result would be the same ? would the lower recording have artifacts and exactly what are artifacts ? If I may ask unrelated question Do the energy from the NH-10wm sony rechargable battery has to be drained LOW before recharging to the point even to take out the still "fair" rechargable battery when using AC power once again so that it may fully discharge first ? Please transfer to HI MD forum

under what topic ?
-
Is there any way to transfer analog recorded tracks on the MD to the Library ?
-
I've got Sonicstage to download coasttocoast am talk radio files to MD only to not have editing capabilities for each 45 min block/track. Is there anyway to add marks & delete after transfering to MD ?
