  1. You guys are asking for too many things. All I want is: 1) Sony to remove the restrictions on sonicstage so that I can put my songs back onto my computer or any other computer. 2) MP3 support
  2. I was browsing ebay and saw that someone had a picture of the 900 with backlight: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ssPageName=WD2V Is this picture genuine? If so, where can I get this version?
  3. But I can't get the tracks into sonicstage in the first place because a pop-up message comes up and tells me I that the songs were created using another computer, let alone convert them to .wav
  4. 1) Say I transfer a CD using simple burner to my 900, and then lost the CD, will I be able to transfer the songs to my PC? 2) Is there anyway of transferring songs uploaded to my 900 on to a different computer?
  5. You know what? You're right!! Screw this shit HI-MD nonsense, i'm getting an ipod mini. Ebay here I come
  6. Is there anyway to recharge AA batteries using the nh900 unit? I can only recharge the gumstick battery
  7. Where did you get the information and background from?
  8. I'm also sick and tired of sony also. I've just got my 900 and i'm pleased with every thing except for the poor screen with no backlight, and the wheel jog on the remote. So yes, when it seems that sony have almost got it right, they do something stupid like not supporting mp3 or sonicstage 1 (what a joke). As soon as sony learn to start listening to it's customers and support integrating with other companies, (e.g. with itunes) they will never compete with the likes of ipod.
  9. To be honest marcnet, I think yours will be better because it is smaller and easy to use. Sony will probably over-complicate a potentially good product into another piece of crap software
  10. Search for a program called Alcohol 52%. It's fantastic and works great. I use it so that I don't always have to have the disk with me when I play a game.
  11. This question may sound stupid. can I use the 800's radio powered remote for the 900 or is there something else in the 800 that makes the radio work?
  12. Thanks. My nh900 is on the way
  13. Hi, I've been reading for a while on these forums, so eventually I just decided to join. Anyway, I want to know which Hi-MD I should get, the 700 or 900. It may seem obvious to get the 900, but I don't see the benifit of splashing out extra money on a 'slightly' better remote, and better looking MD, if the features are the same. So, does any one think it's worth it or should I just settle for the 700?
