Yes you can. You just have to set your default codepage to Japanese. (For XP, that's Control Panel->Regional Settings (or similar)->Advanced->Language for Applications that don't support unicode). Or similar. I have a German Windows, so I don't know the exact terms. On the other hand, most people may just be fine with the English version (unless you need Japanese titles).
