  1. Hi storm shadow. Can you see tracknames on the display (i.e. not the remote) of the RH1? Thx
  2. For me it's bad enough for not using the mp3playback on my RH710
  3. The high frequencies are capped with mp3playback on 2nd generation Hi-MDs
  4. And what about the equalizer on EU-units? You can't use custom equalizer-settings (since 2nd Hi-MD generation) with them...
  5. If the RH1 worked with Ni-MH or AA batteries, I'd buy the RH1 immediately. I'll wait for the 4th generation
  6. How about atrac lossless and the RH1? Anything new?
  7. Is the battery removable? Is this the last (Hi-)MD unit ever?
  8. I also prefer Ni-MH batteries over Li-ion ones, because the first ones are cheaper and easier found in stores.
  9. 48,64,132,192,256,352,PCM (and mp3 for 2nd generation)
  10. Listening to Eva Cassidy Live at Blues Alley Great music
  11. I still don't get it why there are still different bitrates whem importing music... Why can't they make 1 file for all bitrates?

    No Copy

Idd, If you burn the wav tracks back to a cd-r, you don't receive the "no copy" error.

    No Copy

I can't use Simple Burner because I want to make SP recordings for my MZ-E60. Yes I can burn the wav back to a cd, but I want to know if there's a method to do it via the optical out of my cdplayer

    No Copy

Last night I wanted to make a SP recording of a cd on a 80 minute minidisc using the optical out of my cdplayer and optical in of my MZ-N710. "No Copy" started blinking on my N710 when I wanted to record the cd. I took a closer look to the cd and I saw he was copyprotected. I inserted the cd (Camino Real - Buscemi) in my pc and I was able to save the tracks in wav on my pc using EAC. This method took alot of time. My question: do you know if there is a method to bypass the "No Copy" error when using the optical out of my cdplayer? Thanks
  15. On my MZ-N710 Cutsom1: +1 0 0 0 0 0 On my MZ-RH710 Custom1: +2 +1 0 0 0 0 bass
  16. My favorite MD-unit is my MZ-N710. I'm own also a MZ-RH710, but I prefer my netMD because it's a little bit smaller and it has better battery life (with AA attachment). I don't know why, but I also prefer the sound produced by the MZ-N710.
  17. I had the same problem, but since I use Sonicstage 3.3 every file is automatically converted to ATRAC3 132kbps during transfer, even the 128kbps MP3's... You only have to specify in the transer-options screen you want to use always ATRAC3 132kbps
  18. In the CD Importing window, if you select 132kbps(ATRAC3) as import format, you can't choose High or Nomal (Faster) recording quality... I wonder why
  19. One of the big advantages of (Hi-)MDs is that you can use them without a computer
  20. Units: MZ-RH710, MZ-N710 Discs: 89 MDs, 5 HiMDs Daily use: playing songs on bus/bike/train/.... Recording Uses: archiving old lp's Alternatives: My old discman for playback, line-in of my soundcard for recording lp's. Request: Keep the format alive, improve the building-quality of the units. Thank you
  21. I'm a proud European owner of a RH710 and yes it has *.mp3 support (but the the RH710 suffers also from the "mp3 high frequency bug" like the RH10/910) Grtz
