When I connect my MZ-NH900 to my PC by USB does the battery get charged?

Can anyone recommend the best place to purchase a spare gumstick for my MZ-NH900. I am in the UK. Thanks

Am trying to get synchro recording from the optical output of MacG5 into a Sharp MD-MT770 with absolutely no joy. Is this possible without putting a forced gap between tracks? Help appreciated!

I installed SS3 and SB2 onto the PC which work fine with my new MZ-NH900 (this is the first installation of any Sony software on the PC). Then installed the wav conversion tool from the sony site - fired it up and it reported "You must have SonicStage 2.1 or better installed to run this program. Install now?" Can anyone advise what I'm doingwrong - is there a fix for this? Thanks.

This is my first post - yesterday I received my MZ-NH900, a real bargain at £69.99 from amazon. I see that this EU model has a lower volume output than the rest of the world model. Is there a hack to raise the output?
