  1. I've just installed the software for my new MZ RH910 and have been trying to copy my first CD to MD via the MD Simple Burner s/w. I installed MD Simple Burner 2.00 and SonicStage v3.0 from the disc that came with my unit, then updated to Sonicstage v3.2 from Sony's website. I run the CD drive compatibility test but every time it tells me that the test has failed. Help! Is there a problem with the Sony software or can it be true? I've never had any problems before with the CD drive. Can anyone please advise what I can do to make it work? Is it an incompatibility problem with the CD driver software and if so is it possible to correct by updating the CD driver? Many thanks in advance for your help, mercurius
  2. Right, now I have bought the MZ RH910 and found a rather flimsy draw-string bag in the box, I am in the market for a case that will protect it and also enable me to store the headphones and 1-2 mini discs. Can any list member recommend a suitable case that is available in the UK? Thanks, mercurius
  3. I have been doing some research on the forum and reading the great posts from your extremely knowledgeable guys in search of a suitable MD recorder. I have come to the conclusion that I will probably go for the MZ RH910 for interviewing people whilst travelling and for keeping a travel journal (it will also allow me to play recorded music for entertainment along the way). The next question is what is the best (compatible?) mic for this player, give that I need it for interviews and also for recording talks & lectures. Would apprecaite any advice you helpful experts could give to this newbie. Many thanks, mercurius
  4. GoHurdler1 and list. Thank you for your help and advice. Having done some further research, I think I may well go for the MZ RH910, since this will enable me to record and upload interviews to the PC for my primary purpose. Also it will allow me to record music to keep me entertained. Next question is which mic? I suppose I'll have to ask that in the live recording forum. Regards, mercurius
  5. Can anyone give me some advice about which mini disc player and mic to use for interviewing people and for recording a travel journal. It is to use abroad when travelling. Battery life is a consideration too. Many thanks in advance for your advice. mercurius
