Hi Zahg This may not be of much help but I noticed the little shop called the 'cassette shop' just round the corner from the Hippodrome in the centre of Bristol sells a lot of MD gear but I don't know if they have an RH10. Got mine from unbeatable.co.uk in August but they don't seem to be on line at the moment. They had them in the Sony shop in Bath a few weeks ago but at £200. Good luck

Requests: A Hi MD deck would be great. Please keep supplying the blank media and a small number of portable recorders.

Already tried unplugging the power supply. I thought you had to record with AC power plugged in with Hi MD. I don't think it's to do with the vinyl reproduction, the buzz kicks in though the speakers as soon as I plug in the line in (incidently there is a huge humm if I touch the line in lead against the steel frame of the RH 10). I don't get the same problem if the amplifier is on CD mode.

Hi everyone, this is my first post. I have just got a RH10 and it's been fine copying files from the PC. However, when I have used it to record from vinyl on my hi-fi I get a noticable buzzing noise through the hi-fi and on the recording. As soon as I unplug the line in lead from the MD the buzzing stops. The MD is fed from the amplifier 'rec out' to the 'line in' socket on the MD. I have tried plugging MZN707 into the same set up and it doesn't create the buzz and nor does MD deck Any help much appreciated as part of the rationale for getting the RH10 was to be able to record and upload vinyl.
