I have just bought a new lens....A Tamron 17-50 f/2,8 on ebay from Hong-Kong for only ~270 euros. I have hesitated a lot with the Canon 17-40L but it has just an aperture of 4 and the Canon 17-55f/2,8 but it is three time more expensive than the tamron.... I hope i'll receive it before going to Grenada, Spain at the end of the next week.

Cloverfield Great "catastroph" movie, very realistic (well sure there is a monster but ...) I recommended it.

I have just got my black RH1 some days ago when I came back to France after a long wait in China.... Whaoooo what a beast ! It's thinner and lighter than my RH10 ! I love the black anodized Magnesium, remember me the Aluminium of my old 707. The sound is great, a little better than the RH10 maybe thanks to the HD digital amp I don't know. The uploading of my SP recording is just a fantastic feature...if sony gives us earlier....maybe there would have been less Ipods and more MD on earth. Well, i think it's time for my RH10 to take some vacancies...

I've got it too now ! (Thanks to Tommy)

I bought (for my birthday) a Canon BG-E3 Grip for my 350D for 1100 Kuais ~110 euros with an additional battery. That was strange, I've tried 3 shops in a big mall and the 3 shops told me a different price for the same products : 155 euros for the first one, 110 for the second and 100 for the third... So for the grip, ça c'est fait , next step, the 17-40 f/4 L

Humm my favorite album ? Hard to say as I only discovered AIR seriously last week...but as I'm only listening to it for a week, I could say (for now) that my favorite album is, like you, Moon Safari. "La femme d'argent" is really great and "Talisman" is another great one. On "Talkie-Walkie - Copy Control", "Venus", "Cherry Blosom Girl" and "Alone in Kyoto" are also very nice to listen. On "10000 Hz Legend", you could test "Electric Performers", it's for me the best one of this album. It seems that the picture you want me to see doesn't works ( http://static.rateyourmusic.com/album_images/46749.jpg ) What is it ?

Listening to two Red Sparowes albums : At the Soundless Dawn 1. Alone and Unaware, the Landscape Was Transformed in Front of Our Eyes 2. Buildings Began to Stretch Wide Across the Sky, and the Air Filled with a reddish glow 3. Soundless Dawn Came Alive as Cities Began to Mark the Horizon 4. Mechanical Sounds Cascaded Through the City Walls and Everyone Reveled in their ignorance 5. Brief Moment of Clarity Broke Through the Deafening Hum, But It Was Too late 6. Our Happiest Days Slowly Began to Turn into Dust 7. Sixth Extinction Crept Up Slowly, Like Sunlight Through the Shutters Every Red Heart Shines Toward the Red Sun 1. The Great Leap Forward Poured Down Upon Us One Day Like a Mighty Storm, Suddenly and Furiously Blinding Our Senses 2. We Stood Transfixed in Blank Devotion as Our Leader Spoke to Us, Looking Down On Our Mute Faces With a Great, Raging, and Unseeing Eye 3. Like the Howling Glory of the Darkest Winds, This Voice Was Thunderous and the Words Holy, Tangling Their Way Around Our Hearts and Clutching Our Innocent Awe 4. A Message of Avarice Rained Down Upon Us and Carried Us Away Into False Dreams of Endless Riches 5. Annihilate the Sparrow, That Stealer of Seed, and Our Harvests Will Abound; We Will Watch Our Wealth Flood In 6. And by Our Own Hand Did Every Last Bird Lie Silent in Their Puddles, the Air Barren of Song as the Clouds Drifted Away. For Killing Their Greatest Enemy, the Locusts Noisily Thanked Us and Turned Their Jaws Toward Our Crops, Swallowing Our Greed Whole. 7. Millions Starved and Became Skinnier and Skinnier, While Our Leaders Became Fatter and Fatter 8. Finally, as That Blazing Sun Shone Down Upon Us, Did We Know That True Enemy Was the Voice of Blind Idolatry; and Only Then Did We Begin to Think for Ourselves Simply perfect for every people who like Post-rock music....

Just found a little shop near the forbidden city of Shenyang which sell some MD and HIMD units as you can see.... I was interrested in a White Sharp 1-Bit for ~60 euros (before negociations) but it's not really my top priority expense for now....
