Hi yes I knew the difference between Type-S and Type-R...so it's installed by default on each Hi-MD unit? Great! That's what I needed to know. I tried to search for this information on minidisc.org, but I didn't find it! Thank you very much to you all!
As I said, I have a MZ-NH700, and I check the manual, but there's no mention of it...while on the type-R MDs there is a a writing on the unit and a little explanation in the manual... Well, anyway, thanks for answering!
Hi I've read about the Type-S chip, and I've understood what it does. My only question is: is it installed on walkmans? If it is so, which are the models... Just curios... Miky
Hi there before buying my MZ-NH700 (which I'm proud to own, and I love!) I had (and still have and use) an old R-500 and a MZ-N505. So, I was very happy when I hacked my MZ-N505, adding new feautures to it. I was wondering if someone is working to find some hidden treasure in my MZ-NH700!!! Miky
Hi do you remember in Sci-Fi movie "Strange Days" they used Minidisc to store thoughts, and experiences...I guess brain waves take less space than music (and they were using only regular MD). Miky
One simple way to help MD go back on the road is doing what every manufacturer does in this case: you sponsor a big sci-fi movie, like the "Fantastic Four" and give the cool guy a MD recorder... As for the advertising, you pick a cool young star (from music or cinema) and give him/her the MD... That might sound naive, but it has always worked. (Then of course you should cut the prices of MD blanks). Miky
Hi there I'm a jazz fan. I'd like to trade jazz music with other jazz fans. My list of CDs is here: http://michelescasso.altervista.org/miky.htm I can make regular MDs (in SP, LP2 or LP4) or Hi-MD (both 1GB MDs or regular). Miky
