Bought 2 days ago WMP11 sees it as 'WALKMAN Sony' and gives me free space on disk and i can drag and drop music files. If I sync all the sample files are shown as error but files that i drag across by wmp are ok. didn't think anything strange about it until i read your posts. Also works with my HiMD minidisk. Allan

My A808 syncs ok with wmp11 so does my mindisk mz-rh1 dont bother with sonicstage as I just sync in mp3's Allan

The CPF-IX001 is currently free with a Sony 8xx from Sony shops and John Lewis. just got one today. Bought the NW 808 for £169 and got the cpf-ix001 free. it sounds fantastic with the Sony haven't clue what to do with the wireless pod that came with it as it wont work with Vista, but not too bothered. The John Lewis deal runs until 2 Sept. Allan
