Qwakrz
SS does not support any other form of DRM than Atrac. It will import any UNENCRYPTED audio files and CD's but only understands Atrac DRM. It means you have to make an audio CD of your downloaded music & then use that to copy into SS
mutant1345
yes ive had to do that a couple times with music ive downloaded....SS would not record it to my player, it would just play it back on my computer...so i decided to burn the track to a cd and use simple burner to put it on my player GOD I WISH SONY WOULD LET GO OF THE DRM.... but HAHA like that will ever happen...!!! Make up an audio CD set, and burn to the 'image recorder'. Then mount that image with Nero's ImageDrive program, and use SonicStage to import it from the image. Not super-convenient, but potentially faster than actually burning a CD.. (particularly if you have two hard drives and can keep the image & your actual music library on different drives) (And you avoid the possible quality loss from less-than-perfect extraction back from the CD.)
