kalo
I was browsing ebay and saw that someone had a picture of the 900 with backlight: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ssPageName=WD2V Is this picture genuine? If so, where can I get this version?
petertkalec
Yeah, I hate that the unit doesn't have a back-light. I record in slummy clubs often, and I either have to bring along the remote or else do the recording by feel... which I'm getting better at. I don't know if that photo is legit, but I have never seen my 900 light up like that.
jadeclaw
The NH900 has no backlight on the unit. And the text only says backlighted remote.
mrsoul
You might want to upgrade to the NH1 remote if you want a backlight during the darker recording sessions. I have really enjoyed having the ability to look at the recording levels and times in the dark using the RM-MC40ELK. I got it from Ebay for about $75. I usually keep the backlight (although not the brightest in the world) on during shows and I have had no problem reading it in the dark. Plus, I put the recorder on REC>pause and Hold and then I start the recording from the remote once the show starts. I really had issues with the NH900 remote and the lack of recording levels was my main reason for upgrading. Just my .02 and there is no backlight on the main recorder. I wish it were orange background and black text like my MZ-S1.
