tartan
If an upload from minidisc to computer screws up, the disc that screwed up is put aside and marked so it will not be used for recording ever again. Such discs will only be used for playback from now on. Is this going too far ??? and if the disc if formatted and erased, will future uploads from or downloads to the same disc screw up too ??? For this reason, all sound recording is done on the classic smaller discs, if a disc screws up, it will be a $3 disc that gets put in the playback only pile instead of a $10 disc
mrsoul
I really don't think the MD is the problem since I have had screwups and then re-recorded and uploaded without problem off the same MD. I really think the big problem I was having was the size of the data chunk being re-written back to the MD. If I track my shows before uploading, I do NOT have any screwups. Just my experience. jadeclaw
It is not the disc. It is SonicStage. I had it multiple times and I always could reuse the disc without any problems.
