Fernando Olmos
I hope someone here is able to help... How can I "fudge" my MD disc to record a TOC to say "start playing WHAT EVER IS ON THE DISC from the beginning to the END of the disc's limit?". I recorded some live-to-air spoken words on my Sharp MT770, using the microphone input. Everything worked fine, but when I pressed STOP to stop the recording the darn thing did not record the TOC properly. Consequently, when I attempted to play back the recording, the unit says I have a BLANK disc !!! Is there a way to DUMP the TOC from another MD onto my existing MD and hence "force" the unit to play what ever is on the disc? I am certain I recorded my audio, but I am missing the TOC info to tell the unit to play it! Thanks in advance

LEROUX
SUBJECT: How to recover a correctly recorded disk thta becomes suddenly "blank" ? I have been using for one year without any problem a Net MD MZ-N910 Sony. Yesterday I have correctly recorded under LP4 mode, about 3 hours of a very important lecture and discussion. Today I began listening it. It works quite well during a few second. I tried to increase volume with the round button. Suddenly sound stopped and very quickly appered "blank disk" on the screen. As far as I know, the way to erase all files on a disk volume is to erase a few invisible "characters" that allow to read the file. Is there some soft to use from a PC with the USB link to recover my very precious MD files in putting correct character or flags into place , Thanks in advance

Skradgee
I have used a disc recovery service that worked well for me. I must say that it took forever (3 months) to get my recoverd disc back in the mail, but it was well worth the wait. Eventually my disc was fixed with the TOC cloning procedure, and for an additional cost of a few extra $ the audio was burned to a CD .http://www.utahdesign.com/marsIt looks like their site might be down now , but I thought I should share my successful disc recovery experince with you people. Good luck.-Nathan
