phox
My nh1 finaly has arrived, and i am very pleased with my choice. It feels increadibly sturdy and its just so damn sleek. I'm sure u've all seen the pictures so im not gunna go into the whole "omg its entire body construction is solid magnesium!" bit. But this thing just feels so great in your hand. and now to the part that i want to share with the rest of you -> I got it for only 290 (including shipping) using pricegrabber.com which pointed me to http://www.compuplus.com/insidepage.php3?s...ck=searchViewed. And i must say this pricegrabber.com is a god send. i typed in afew things that i wanted and found things for a fraction of the original price. the mdr-ex71 earphones (regularly 50) i found for like 30 and the nh1 (regularly 400) i found for 290. so thats $320 for $450 worth! not half bad if ya ask me. (just checked, seems like compuplus upped the nh1 10 bucks to 300) all in all, just wanted you guys to know that the nh1 is everything u wanted it to be and a bag of chips, and that i found a great tool to saving some major cash even while upgrading ur selection. hope ya guys find this helpful, ~phox
Fat Tires
Is the NH1 packaged in plastic or in a cardboard box?
streaml1ne
Mine came in a cardboard box. Every other HiMD unit (700/900) I've bought came in plastic cases.

atheodo
all high end products come in a box (black); this the first class indication of sony; I got mine a couple weeks ago, and I fall in love since I opened the box and touched it; the sound is incredible; but I don't use the earphones that came with it; I use the high end shure ones. Fat Tires
Yeah, I kinda knew that. The DNE900 I bought came in a black box too.
Latexxx
My nh900 was in a black box but box doesn't mean anything because even the model mz-nh600 is in a black box here.
