mmilovan
Anyone thought of “locking” the discs to prevent SS trashing recorded material? While reading discussions about SonicStage problem – occasionally and random trashing recorded material and converting it into useless not accessible tracks – would like to ask if anyone managed to avoid it by locking HiMD via plastic clip at the top of the minidisc itself, after recording it, and transfer it with such protection? A440
It's the first thing I tried. SS won't upload from a write-protected disc.
indeego
I think because the track you want to upload to your pc will be changed by sonicStage (drm->edit-protection/further upload-protection)
hobgoblin
basicly when you upload a track, sonicstage alters some bits somewhere to mark the file as uploaded. sadly this seems to happen without verification that the track in fact got uploaded properly
corien
Yes, it was the first thing I tried too, and SS didn't want to transfer the file. Thus, when you upload a file, something is being changed in the MD.
