Christopher
Noted in each manual is the mW for each unit. The NH1 is and will be 5mW worldwide, the MZ-NH900/NH700 is 5mW in the US and I assume elsewhere - 3mW in Europe. The NHF800 is 3mW in Europe, and lists 5mW for US and Canada. The MZ-DH10P will be 2.8mW in Europe, 5mW everywhere else. The MZ-RH10 will be 2.8mW in Europe, 5mW everywhere else. The MZ-RH910 will be 2.8mW in Europe, 5mW everywhere else. Since the MZ-EH930 seems to be Japanese only, it will 5mW.
Davew
To confirm the situation with the NHF800,the manual specifies:3 mW (European Models)5 mW (Other Models) Edited January 5, 2005 by Davew

mimichris
Norms Europeans ask what the power of walkman is reduced following problems of young people deafness that listen strong greatly too much. But we have the possibility to choose on the MD Sony with reduction or without reduction of the power.

tommypeters
My Hi-MD MZ-NH600 I bought cheap here in Sweden little over a week ago is said in the manual to have 3mW++3mW as European models should (and it has remote port+line in as European models have), yet the volume clearly increases all the way up to 30...? I thought all European models were crippled by making volume increase only work up to 25?
greenmachine
With the EQ on, you'll get compressed sound from 25 upwards.
tommypeters
But I thought you had to hack the unit to get any volume increase above 25? Or do you then get volume increase without compression, or what?
