So i went to a jazz club the other day and i heard the most incredible show that ive ever heard there and i got it all on my minidisc. so now i want to make a cd of it for all my friends. so i first copy the data files (atdata0x.hma and all the rest) into a folder for backup, just incase anything happens. So i transfer the music using sonicstage, and something happens. I dont know where the problem occured but im quite sure i did not make a stupid mistake. When the transfer is 'complete' there are no new files in my library, and my hi-md is now empty. it pretty much just erased the whole thing. the fact that this happened is not the point of this post, but what i want to know is if there is a way to put the files that i first copied over as a backup, back on the md and have it useable. i have been tinkering with it for hours, and i can get the files on there easy, but the md player and sonic stage will not play it, not recognise that it has audio content on it. does anybody know anything on how i can save my recording?

Sonicstage has destroyed the tracks, getting the tracks back isn't possible at this stage.

The only way to avoid losing tracks is to "play it into the computer" real time and record it before letting sonicstage upload it.

If that recording is very important, return to the show and re record it or put the disc aside until the day recovering lost tracks comes.

The player also writes the most important stuff on the disc in a "hidden" spot that windows can't find so that copies don't play. There is also only one shot at uploading, even if a track screws up, there will still be no second chance and double trouble as the track on the disc will be destroyed too.
