BenJammin
I was about to buy the Shure E2c's and figured, what the hell, why not go all the way. Am I right in thinking that the Ety ER-4's are some of, if not the top of the line canalphones? The question is, what is the difference between the -S and the -P suffix on the product code, and would either be money well spent when matched with the NH1? Am I better off amping it? If so I probably won't be able to buy an amp for another month, and even then I won't always have the amp on me, so given that, which of the two models is receommended (provided either is worth mating with the NH1). trumpetdc
P is the one you need to get because no portable out there really has the amp to drive the S version built in. If you can get an amp, you can get the P with the P-S adapter for the times you don't have the amp. But I was wondering whether nh1+er4p actually sounds good or not.~peace
linzq
Well, I don't know if this helps, but the Ety er-6is sound FANTASTIC with the 800.I can't even turn the volume past 14 without blowing my ears out... where I had to go up to 28/30 to even hear properly with the crappy sony ones. bhangraman
I've run the E2c, E3c, E5, ER-4P, ER-6i out of the NH1 and they're all properly powered.
