if i use the wav conversion tool, and convert a recording to .wav. would that eliminate the risk of losing files during upload. do i have to upload files to use this tool? cause its my belief that im just converting files from my Hi-MD to .wav, and saving those files onto my harddrive. i wouldnt actually be uploading the files from my hi-md to my comp. im a wrong?

Dex has torture-tested SonicStage 2.3 and didn't lose any uploads. I have not been so rigorous but I have also found it completely reliable.

If you are completely paranoid then do an analogue recording (into Audacity or your sound-recording program of choice) before you do the upload, but you probably won't have to.

Wav Converter converts recordings that you have uploaded into SorryStage's My Library. You can't convert them until they're in SonicStage.
